Supply Foreman Job in Fort Lewis, Washington Us

URS Corporation is now hiring a Supply Foreman for our Ft. Lewis, WA OLR aircraft maintenance support operations. Will be responsible to provide guidance to billable personnel in the supply areas.

High School diploma/GED and minimum 5 years journeyman or equivalent of government program/project management experience with U.S. Army Supply background preferred. Must be familiar with ULLS-A-E, and FEDLOG. Must be able to navigate, order, and receive parts in ULLS-A-E. OVERTIME MANDITORY WHEN REQUIRED.

Knowledge of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or established guidelines. Analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data and establish facts and to take or recommend action based upon applicable established guidelines.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals and contract delivery orders. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as man-hour standards and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to work through production/personnel issues effectively. Position may require travel.

Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.

Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.

Will be required to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check.

Job Description:
Provides guidance to deliver efficient work procedures, work schedules, and workflow.
Monitors contractual delivery orders, contract funds status, customer satisfaction, and satellite job sites for contract compliance.
Supervise, coordinate, assign duties, provide leadership, and reviews the work of assigned staff and/or contracts for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
Monitors and fosters harmony among the crew complement.
Reviews composite reports from individual reports of subordinates prior to submission.
Provides guidance to correct errors and complaints. Monitors work sites during and after completion to determine safety, quality, and completeness.
Monitors the process of work orders, labor time sheets and material requests for accuracy before submitting. Prepares written and oral reports to the Program Management staff as required.
