Job description
- Analyze the Material Requirement Plan (MRP) to calculate the raw ingredients and/or Packaging needed to meet customer's demand
- Develop and issue material requirements to the suppliers according to contracts agreed by local Buyer and/or Group Procurement
- Prevent shortfalls in material contracts within the appropriate lead-time, ensuring safety stocks are maintained and reorder quantities are up to date
- Coordinate and expedite raw material and/or packaging deliveries
- Analyze together with OSI Buyer stock levels on obsolete, rejected or excess ingredients and provide recommendations to management to reduce these levels
- Review processes established to permanently improve the possible reduction of delivery lead times, minimize stocks and yet increase Customer service level
- Lead key Supply Chain projects in order to improve synchronization of operations with the Plants and increase automation (in all Supply Chain areas)
- Define and Optimize Supplier Complaints processes
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree required (or equivalent)
- Knowledge in SAP modules Sales and Plant Organization Data and Material Master Data
- At least one year experience with MRP systems
- Incumbent in Procurement
- Next to English, must dominate Spanish language (preferably native); Dutch and French are an advantage
- Familiar with Supply Chain principles and inventory management processes
- Analytical, detail oriented, and yet able to prioritize the areas needing focus
- Must constantly look for ways to improve the process in order to reduce lead-time and eliminate non-value-added activities
