My Client, a tier one investment bank based in the City of London, are looking for a strong Support Analyst with excellent interpersonal skills. The bank is in the early stages of a significant effort to simplify and improve focus services with their clients within MI and Data Analytics IT.

Within this role you will be maintaining/supporting an existing in-house MI CRM solution. Further to this there will be significant exposure to the users and you will be liaising with system users to resolve any queries/issues as well as gathering business requirements technical design specifications to a star schema ensuring solutions can be supported in an efficient manner.
Key Requirements:

* Ability to support SQL/RDB; solid commercial databases; SSIS SQL Server (2005/2008) essential.
*Reporting; solid experience of supporting a Reporting Tool (MicroStrategy preferred).
*Impact assessment of when job failures occur and taking the appropriate remedial/escalation actions.
*Impact assessment of Production issues taking the appropriate remedial/escalation actions.
*Web; exposure to ASP .NET ideal.
*Prior experience as a support analyst on a Data Warehouse project in the banking sector.

You will have the ability to support SQL/RDB; solid commercial databases; SSIS SQL Server (2005/2008) which is essential. A successful candidate will not only require the skill listed above but also need prior experience as a support analyst within in the financial sector.
