Industry leading software vendor in the regulation, compliance risk management space has an urgent requirement for an experienced Support Consultant / Support Engineer / Application Support candidate to join their London office. Because of the huge increase in regulation, compliance regulatory requirements in the investment banking world, my client is very busy at the moment and is projecting continued success and business growth.
They have an urgent requirement for a client facing technically proficient Support Consultant to work with their clients providing support in Oracle, Java, J2EE, LDAP, JMS, SQL.
In the role of Technical Support / Support Analyst you will be working on a number of tasks including:
- 1st 2nd Line support of system issues
- Client engagement - you will be working with leading global trading organisations to provide support and analysis relating to the various software products
- Internal external communication
- Provide client system health-checks reports

To be considered for the Technical Support / Support Analyst - Oracle v11, Java, J2EE, MS SQL, UNIX, JBoss, JMS - you must have extremely strong technical skills and your profile must clearly demonstrate:
- Detailed, thorough current experience in using Java, (This will be questioned, tested, and probed at interview so accuracy of information is essential)
- Ideally you will also have knowledge of J2EE, JBoss, JMS etc
- Strong ability with SQL
- Recent experience with Oracle v.11
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to work in a client facing role offering support to industry leading investment banks and other financial services trading firms
- Strong motivation to work in the regulation compliance space

Our client will consider candidates at a range of salary levels from around £45'000 + benefits but may consider candidates looking for up to £65'000 (but only if all requirements are met to an advanced level)
