Support Contact Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Support Contact Manager position for a charity based in Somerset.

The job role requires the successful candidate to conduct the development and maintenance of the Supporter Contact Strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring the contact centre is managed and operated at the highest possible standards through using cost-effective methods.

As a Support Contact Manager, you will need to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and be able to show your commitment to the causes and values of the organisation. You must have the ability to lead, manage and motivate a team whilst working to strict deadlines.

You will be leading the internal Supporter Contact team whilst working closely with the Head of Supporter Administration to assist the response management on key issues. For this role, you must have strong interpersonal skills as you’ll be working with sensitive issues on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in:

Managing a multi-channel contact centre
Working in a senior customer care role
IT communications within a contact centre
Working within a quality framework
Managing suppliers delivering multi-channel supporter contact
A fundraising environment
