My client who is a household name in this city, is looking for a real up-and-comer to join their IT team in a managerial role.
Based in the eastern suburbs with easy access via train, you will be looking to build on your solid experience of IT infrastructure applications support and step on up into a Lead / Manager role.
Ideally, you will have been an acting-Team Leader for a small internal IT support function and can demonstrate people management and mentoring, whilst also providing hands-on help if and when needed. This role will be reporting in to the IT Manager and essentially be his right-hand person.
Suitable industry qualifications and experience are essential as you will be 'thrown into the deep end' on various and numerous occasions, therefore you will need to rely on your experience and technical skills to resolve issues with the team as they arise.
