Support Specialist Job in Mississauga, Ontario Canada

·         Installing operating systems and products.

·         Installs software products

·         Evaluates and compares third party products

·         Creating certification platforms.

·         Installs the platform components

·         Customizes platform parameters to make them work with the products

·         Prepares scripts to run automatically the certification test suits

·         Diagnosing application run-time problems.

·         Analyzes problems connected with third party products used by the applications

·         Working knowledge of operation systems – UNIX, LINUX, AIX and Windows

·         Working knowledge of ORACLE data base

·         Working knowledge of application servers – WebLogic and/or WebSphere

·         Minimum 2+ years of Java development experience

·         Requires well-developed communication skills both oral and written and the ability to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with the product development team.

·         An appreciation for technical alternatives and knowledge of emerging technologies.

·         Understanding of performance measurement  and performance testing

·         An accomplished proven track record of solving software problems.

·         Flexible, willing to backtrack and seek multiple innovative alternate solutions.
