Life Without Barriers is a not-for-profit organization providing innovative community based services to promote, support and enhance independence and well-being for homeless children, young people and adults with disabilities, mental health issues or living in crisis across Australia.
The following position has become available:
Support Worker, Homelessness - Part time (30 hours per week)
We seek a committed and passionate person to join our Homelessness program based at Netley.
Staff will need to be able to work independently to provide assertive Case Management to clients and have proven experience working in the Homelessness sector. You will therefore need excellent client engagement skills together with a good knowledge of working with community agencies to ensure clients receive appropriate services.
It is essential that applicants have a current drivers licence, senior first aid certificate and relevant tertiary qualifications – either Cert III in Community Services or a degree/diploma in the Social Sciences. Successful candidates are required to have a current drivers’ licence, a National Police Check Clearance and Working with Children’s Check if applicable.
