Full time Surface Mount Operator position available on 2nd (3:30PM-12:00AM) shift. Prior surface mount experience preferred, but will train the right person who has a background in electronics. Employee must demonstrate the ability to learn and retain the knowledge of processes associated with the surface mount operation, including machine setup, loading new programs into the computer, stenciling processes (glue and paste), the re-flow oven operation and also periodic maintenance of the SMT machines. Employee must be able to read and comprehend drawings, bill of materials and other provided product information, and complete the surface mount assembly within a reasonable time, with normal supervision. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee must be capable of hand assembly and may be required to use hand tools and power tools. Job assembly may require standing or sitting. Employee may be asked to assist with assembly in other departments.
