SURGERY SCHEDULER
The Atlanta Women’s Health Group, the largest OB/GYN practice in Georgia with offices in the north Atlanta area serving Northside Hospital, has a current job opportunity for a Surgery Scheduler in one of our practices in the Alpharetta area.
This fast-paced position is responsible for coordinating and processing surgery schedules between the physician and hospital/surgery center to include pre and post procedure and/or surgical appointments, verification of benefits and pre-authorization for all surgeries, maintaining patient and surgery schedules, and completion of disability paperwork.
The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized, self-starter with a minimum of 2 years medical practice experience or equivalent. Coding and scheduling experience required. A reliable, independent individual with very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to tactfully negotiate would be a highly desired candidate.
