Overview:
Opportunity with a leading Tissue Bank that sells into Plastic, Reconstructive, Trauma, Sports Medicine Orthopaedic/Spine surgery.  

Responsibilities:

1. Possess effective skills in training, information dissemination and sales to Agencies and end users on all features and benefits of Product to elicit trial use and continuous use/reorder.

2. Able to build trust, systematically uncover needs, articulate marketing strategy to create competitive advantage, recognize buying cues and close new business while maintaining existing business. Establish strong customer relationships through a consultative selling process.

3. Proficient in planning, organizing and managing sales process in a large geographic territory. Create a comprehensive sales plan to effectively meet personal and corporate quarterly and annual sales objectives.

4. Attend surgical cases on a routine basis to educate surgeons and nursing staff regarding the use of Company Product.

5. Identify key surgeons and facilities that have the greatest sales potential.

6. Using a professional approach and self-starting mentality, initiate contact and build relationships with key surgeons and decision-makers within the hospital /out patient surgical center environment.

7. Prepare and give sales presentations on Company Product to key surgeons and surgical personnel to generate interest, utilization and sales.

8. Complete administrative duties on time, including reports, marketing surveys, and other assignments.

9. Routinely communicate territory activities to Company sales management and other Company personnel. Willing to meet sales targets through preparation, adaptability and perseverance.

10. Attend out of town and local tradeshows and meetings as needed.

11. Seek out opportunities to increase personal level of knowledge on all applicable surgical procedures and the industry in general.

12. Work with the Company Product Management regarding the development and management of sales programs inventory levels.

13. Travel, sometimes extensively on short notice, as needed, in order to support the sales effort

14. Develop and conduct training presentations and in-services for sales representatives and end-users.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing or Business Management

2. Minimum of three years sales experience calling on surgical departments including operating rooms and purchasing departments with surgical implantable devices or specialty surgical disposable products.

3. Minimum of three years sales experience detailing surgical products to surgeons, preferably specialty surgical supplies or unique, differentiated technologies to plastic surgeons.

4. Documented sales success in generating new sales and maintaining existing business in accounts.

5. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

6. Knowledge of surgical procedures or physical anatomy required. Plastic, cosmetic, reconstructive or dermatologic surgery preferred.

7. Ability to travel via plane, train or automobile up to 50% of the time.

8. Must be enthusiastic and extremely energetic, self directed, service-oriented, highly motivated individual who is goal oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, budget and manage a fast paced work load

9. Fast learner who exhibits a strong work ethic and dynamic team environment interaction skills are required. Comfortable communicating in new and unfamiliar environments. Capable of maintaining open and positive communications with colleagues, peers and staff.

10. Ability to maintain a home office and use personal automobile to travel extensively.
