Surveillance Radar Data Analysis

Solidus is searching for a Software Developer to assist with the development, support and upgrade of a post-mission analysis software package. This suite of tools is used for managing and processing large amounts and differing types of data collected from various surveillance radar systems for post-mission analysis. The successful candidate will also support software source control and distribution for a variety of software efforts. Duties may also consist of maintaining the integrity of the group's core software libraries and documentation, participating in code reviews, standing up development tools, building appropriate testing environments, and providing guidance to peers on the organization of newly integrated contributions.

The successful individual will join a team working on air defense issues, in particular, air vehicle survivability, vulnerability of United States Air Force (USAF) aircraft to weapons systems, electronic countermeasures, and air surveillance for homeland defense.

Requirements:
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- BS degree in relevant area
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Strong background in C++ and object-oriented design within a Linux environment as well as experience with GUI development
- Knowledge of database programming is a plus

Strong background in the following:
- Linux operating system
- Linux development tools
- Qt development environment
- Other standard C++ development libraries such as Boost and STL
- Common radar signal processing concepts
