Surveillance Specialist (Quality Auditor)
Responsibilities A Surveillance Specialist (Quality Auditor) position is available in the NND Quality Systems Department at the V. C. Summer Nuclear Station in Jenkinsville, SC. Qualified auditors conduct audits, observations and surveillance of nuclear power plant programs and New New Nuclear Deployment functional areas such as Engineering. Audits and surveillances will also be conducted of new nuclear power plant construction and inspection programs and contractors. The auditor evaluates the results of audits, observations and surveillance to assess performance of the functional areas when compared to regulations, codes and industry standards. This responsibility supports the department mission to provide oversight of station activities. Qualified lead auditors organize, plan and direct a team of individuals in the accomplishment of these activities. Auditors and lead auditors interface with station management at all levels to present the results verbally and in written reports. Qualifications Lead auditor certification is preferred in accordance with ANSI N45-2.23, NQA-1 or ISO 9001. A Bachelor s Degree is highly preferred, but may be substituted with equivalent experience.
