Position Summary:

 

Lead, manage and grow an existing high performance strategic insights and analytics team of 25 analytics employees to support the multichannel analytics needs of our Agency clients.  Build out additional depth and competencies in Digital Analytics.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Leadership / Management

-         Contribute to the strategic insight needs of the Agency and its internal and external constituents

-         Provide business leadership, strategic guidance, management oversight and direction to the Agency’s analytics team

-         Effectively direct, manage and lead a high performance Strategic Insights and Analytics team

-         Identify and develop enhanced capabilities for Digital Analytics

New Business / Sales Support

-         Participate in the sales process for proposals, RFPs and pitches involving Analytics services

-         Add strategic value to new business pitches

 

 

Existing Business / Delivery

-         Ensure the effective and profitable delivery of quality Analytics and Insight work for Agency clients

-         Add strategic value to existing clients

 

Required Experience, Skills and Education:

 

·         Experience in leading and growing an analytics department or team

·         Bachelors Degree or higher in marketing analytics, database marketing, CRM, or other related discipline

·         +7 years related professional experience in an agency or corporate setting

·         Experience in marketing analytics for direct marketing and database marketing

·         Experience in marketing analytics for ecommerce and digital analytics

·         Experience with web analytic tools including Omniture, Google Analytics and Coremetrics

·         Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

·         Strong client relationship skills are a must

·         Must understand project execution and have the ability to think strategically

·         Travel will be required (approx 20%)
