SVP CFRM
CSTF is an important component of business proposition in Asia. CSTF teams are to be based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Australia. They are in charge of originating, structuring and implementing vanilla trade products, structured trade finance, and transactional finance to commodity customers for both Global Banking and Commercial Banking customer groups.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of SVP CFRM
Principle Accountabilities:
- Assist in the credit risk management of Commodity Structure Trade Finance in Singapore including in areas of establishing best practice policies, processes and systems to address the post-sanction monitoring and control of the CSTF portfolio credit risk: CSTF will be delivered to customers in GBM and CMB
- Drive management of key credit risks and related reporting for local portfolio.
- Ensure effective risk control and support for internal customers (CSTF Business Development, Commercial Banking and GBM)
- Lead direction and set parameters for functional Risk reports and ensure delivery of objectives for both CSTF and related stakeholders.
- Assist in driving identification and development of best practice systems and processes for Risk control functions, ensuring local roll-out.
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
- A degree holder with 7-10 year’s executive experience in commodity structured trade finance risk, products and customers.
- In-depth knowledge of best practice CSTF credit systems and processes
- Strong understanding of the marketplace and issues likely to impact on effective risk management
- Strong interpersonal, communications, leadership, negotiation, analytical, presentation and decision making skills
