SVP, Client Services – PBM or Heathcare

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

·         Ultimate accountability for executing the terms of the PBM Services Agreement, ensuring that all financial and operational performance guarantees are met. 

·         Accountable for the PL of assigned client/s; with the Catalyst Executive team and the Divisional finance team, develops an annual budget and financial targets.

 

·         Lead the business components of the transition of pharmacy benefit management services from incumbent PBM to Catalyst Rx.

·         Serves as primary point of contact on strategy related matters for the client/s Executive team (C-Suite)

 

·         In partnership with the VP of Finance, manage to the financial and operational goals of the account, including top line growth, profitability, and expense management.

 

·         Lead the effort to generate high levels of client satisfaction by creating business process excellence, consistently delivering high quality work products, creating clinical and financial value, and ensuring that resources are deployed efficiently and effectively, resulting in client retention and growth.

 

·         Facilitate annual strategic planning sessions with the client/s to establish business development, operational, and strategic goals and objectives.

 

·         Acts as the business lead for the management of significant operating projects, including system enhancements and transitions, vendor transitions, and new product installations. 

·         Lead, develop and mentor team members in  a matrixed organizational environment.

 

 

·         Serves as liaison between the client and the senior Executive team at Catalyst Rx

 

·         As a member of the MCO Divisional leadership team, participates in setting the strategic direction and annual goals for the Division.

 

·         Works independently and with other management team members to improve company-wide processes, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and profitability. 

 

·         Participates in various corporate committees, task forces and special projects as appropriate. 

 

·         Stays abreast of industry trends and developments and demonstrates strong communication skills in presenting these to staff and clients.

 

·         Supports sales in preparing for and participating in finalists’ presentations.

  

·         Travel as required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

·          Minimum of fifteen (15) years combined experience in health care, health insurance, managed care, PBM, or related industry.

·         Operational and/or financial management experience

·         Experience managing large teams with a history of success in creating a culture of high performance, accountability, communication, creativity and trust 

·         Experience managing large scale, strategic client relationships or managing a business or large department

·         Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and presentation skills

·         Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to adapt quickly to change

·         Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and high-growth environment
