We are currently working with a global leading Bank based in Singapore, who are currently seeking an experienced energy derivative salesperson to join their team an help expand their presence across the region. This offers the opportunity for the incumbent to build up a business and play a leading role within the company. The position requires 4 - 7+ years working experience in a financial institution, with core exposure to energy derivative sales. Suitable candidate will also have existing contacts across the Asian markets as well as strong relationships that they can utilise in this new role.

Responsibilities:
• SVP Energy Derivative Sales - Oil, crude, fuel, gasoil, distillates, light ends, across the barrel, platts products
• Marketing, pricing, and execution of commodities derivatives transactions for corporate and financial institutions.
• Develop profitable book consisting of sales of energy products, natural gas, oil coal, to institutional and corporate clients
• Fundamental analysis Exposure to risk Management
• Willing to go the extra mile and engage in all areas of the process - negotiate legal documentation and manage counterpart risk and profitability generated by transactions
• Clear interactions and follow up with internal operational and risk management teams.
• Prcing - Structured all kind of vanilla and exotic strategies
• Execution - Platts, Globalcoal, NYMEX, ICE, Argus, LBMA and LME (both OTC and cleared) linked transactions.
• Accountability for own business
• Well established contacts within the Asia Pacific markets - cover a large portfolio of clients located in China, India, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore etc
• Profitable pnl track record
Requirements:
• 4-7+ years sales / marketing experience in a financial institution
• Must be a team player and a cultural fit within the team
• Must speak English, any other Asian language skill set is a big plus: Thai, Malay, Korean, Taiwanese etc.
• Must be currently based in Singapore or willing to relocate to there.
• Must have desire to create a business with a long term approach.
