About our Client
Our client is a stable banking group with well-established business in the region. They are now looking for a high-caliber, mature Compliance professional to take on a leadership role for their Equities Compliance team in Hong Kong.
Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for:
- Providing compliance advices to the Equity Derivatives business in their daily business operations
- Sitting with the equities sales and trading business and supporting them on new business initiatives from the compliance perspective
- Working with the global equities compliance teams to enhance standards of conduct and sharing updates on regulatory changes
- Analyzing surveillance reports and conducting investigations when necessary
The Successful Applicant
You will be a confident and mature individual with at least 8 years of Compliance experience within the Investment Banking industry. You will have excellent knowledge of equity products. In addition, you will have strong, hands-on knowledge of the securities regulations in the region. You will possess effective communication skills. Proficiency in English is essential.
