SVP-MIS Research Product Mgr recruitment

Responsibilities
Product Management
-Contribute to the development of new research and data products working together with Moody's Investors Service, (MIS), Moody's Analytics (MA) and Shared Services (MIT, Finance, et al);
-Support the prioritization and investment decision making for new products across the four MIS LOB's;
-Where appropriate develop and manage formal processes to facilitate efficient decision making within MIS;
-Liaise with the four lines of business within MISto harmonize product development processes, including associated budgeting;
-Perform end to end quality control assessments of new products together with MA (e.g. content and IT through to delivery)
-Establish research and data best practices, including standardize processes, tracking, and production to ensure high quality content production and robust data delivery mechanisms for customers;
-Review business-specific research plans from the four lines of business, ensure they meet the overall business needs of MIS and MA and monitor delivery against targets;

Coordination
-Serve as a primary contact/liaison for MA and Shared Services to resolve issues during product development and ensure timely delivery of all agreed upon product requirements;
-Coordinate research and data project plans for MIS through an operational forum with MA
-Partner with MA and future content management system personnel on related business processes
-Liaise with other key personnel including Research Directors, Strategic Calling Officers, Product Strategy among others
-Report regularly on MIS research product activities to a senior steering committee comprised of MIS and MA representatives;
-In partnership with MA, provide regular updates to MIS Analytical Teams and MA Sales and Service teams;

Outreach
-Support MIS and MA managers with planning, coordinating and monitoring investor outreach activities;
-Analyze and execute together with MA appropriate responses to market feedback relating to products and services

Qualifications
-Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree) in a business related discipline or marketing, graduate/second-level degree (e.g. MBA, Master's) preferred
-10+ years experience.
-Previous experience in management consulting, with product strategy or project management in related financial field.
-Articulate and succinct communication skills both verbally and in writing; experience of reporting up to Senior Management
-Strong organizational skills with sound judgment
-Strong quantitative and analytic skills
