SVP, PRODUCTS AND MARKETING FOR ASIA PACIFIC recruitment

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will drive and implement regional marketing and communication strategies for Asia Pacific

• identify, quantify and maximise product opportunities to drive product revenue net profit
• propose and implement initiatives to ensure that products take advantage of changes in technology, market and consumer behaviour
• develop strategic framework and align with Group to develop products and product marketing activities delivered with the agreed financial return
• work with Business Development, Customer Services and Operations to ensure the delivery against the required business performance and SLAs
• develop, lead and implement overall marketing, brand management, promotional campaigns, corporate / public relations and eCommerce strategies and plans
• lead consumer behaviour and product research projects
• develop and oversee all corporate and external communication for the company and products, including all customer collaterals, sales tool kits, product information, websites, corporate and business presentations
• act as the central marketing resource for all regional activities
• build credible, working relationships with external and internal service providers
• ensure all marketing, PR and communication activities are consistent with the principles and branding guidelines as established by the group
• report any information security incident, weakness or malfunction

Requirements:

• university graduate or equivalent, preferably in insurance, business or marketing related discipline
• minimum ten years’ of working experience of which five years in product development and/or product
• marketing preferably gained from insurance companies or Bancassurance
• relevant experience in marketing management including direct marketing, brand, advertising,
• public relations, online marketing and research preferably from finance services
• ability to readily transfer product skills across a number of products
• working experience in financial services preferred
• experience in managing a portfolio of diverse products preferred
• proficient in spoken and written English, Putonghua and Cantonese
• flexibility with a ‘can-do’ attitude
