Compliance is organized by the lines of business that conform to the organization of the Firm's lines of business (LOBs) and corporate staff areas, allowing the compliance staff to work closely with specific groups on a daily basis. The primary function of the Compliance Practice group is to provide both transactional and strategic compliance support on the various legal and regulatory requirements which apply. The Head of Compliance Testing Program will develop, execute and lead the testing plan, based on a risk based approach, which is aligned to the Card, Merchant Services and Auto Finance lines of business and addresses all regulatory requirements. The role will report to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for Card, Merchant Services and Auto Finance, and will act as a back-up and potential successor for the CCO. Generally interfaces with senior and executive management. Responsibilities include: - Manage team of approximately 20-25 testing compliance officers to execute an annual and dynamic testing plan. - Create, in conjunction with the business and other Compliance officers, an annual and dynamic risk assessment to serve as a foundation for the annual testing plan. - Apply Financial Services industry best practices for designing and executing a testing program, including statistical sampling size, standards for ranking risks, and work papers. - Sustain and/or enhance the testing program to create minimum standards across all business lines consistent with JPMorgan Corporate Compliance requirements. - Accountable for the execution and timeliness and integrity of the testing plan. - Review all reports for timeliness and track action items, as wells as create periodic reports for senior management. - Partner with JPMorgan Chase Internal Audit and the JPMorgan Chase Chief Control Officers. B.A. required and J.D, MBA or CPA a plus - Strong knowledge of applicable federal and state consumer, and safety and soundness regulatory requirements and regulator expectations - Wilmington, DE based (preferred) or New York - Minimum of 15 years experience working in the financial industry, either as a Federal banking regulator and/or in-house compliance officer - 8-10 years experience specifically in compliance testing programs and/or regulatory exams J.P.
