SVP/Dir, MME Approver
Responsibilities
- Sign-off on HK MME credits and deal driven credit requests
- Review MME credit applications, liaise with RMs and conduct site visits as required, perform account monitoring
- Provides specific industry input and assists in the structuring of credit transactions as required by partners in the product and coverage groups
- Analyzes risks and returns in terms of its potential impact on the capital and PL relevant to the business unit, transaction and product
- Manages credit exposures within the portfolio, including stress testing and early problem recognition
- Identifies and executes risk mitigation to create new risk capacity, reduce risks concentration and to improve returns / capital allocation
- Manage impact of credit, market, franchise and operational risks on portfolio of counterparties
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in MME lending, remedial management or MME relationship management
- Experience in credit risk management in the Hong Kong banking industry
- Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese
- Excellent verbal written English communication skills. Active listening skills
