Overview
SwapClear is seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter with excellent writing skillsto join its fast growing European team. The successful candidate will possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and personalities. Organizational skills, strong communications skills and dedication are a must.
Responsibilities
- Help plan and implement marketing programs designed to help build brand awareness, stimulate product usage, and drive customer acquisition and retention using both online and offline tactics.
- Oversee the design and development of marketing components including thought leadership, internet marketing, direct mail, e-mail campaigns, print/web advertising, collateral materials, trade shows, marketing promotions, and customer communications.
- Build strong relationships with internal product owners, specialist teams and regional sales to identify and help prioritize marketing initiatives. Draw on and engage these experts as necessary. Communicate with sales and production regarding product and pricing changes.
- Create and manage project plans with an appropriate sense of urgency, according to agreed deadlines and within established budget.
- Liaise with public relations and media contacts; help draft press and media releases.
- Help plan and produce product presentations and marketing events.
- Ensure that all campaign messages and components are kept current and consistent.
- Liaise with marketing colleagues in US and Asia Pacific.
- Coordinate outside vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and assess competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Prepare marketing reports for senior management.
- Maintain inventories and archives of marketing and promotional materials.
- Ensure marketing activities comply with state and federal regulations.
- Report to SwapClear Head of Marketing.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Excellent Writing skills
- Familiarity with both the strategic and tactical elements of marketing.
- Marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Experience creating and managing to detailed marketing programs and budgets.
- A strong understanding of the financial services space, ideally through work with buy-side financial institutions.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with other financial market data platforms, as well as with sales and marketing systems such as SalesForce.com and Big Dough, a definite plus.
