Urgent requirement at a Global Banking organisation for an experienced product control manager.

The manager is responsible for assisting with the development and maintaining effective working relationships with the business. In addition, the role includes managing, motivating, developing fellow team members.

Some of the tasks you will be responsible for include:
 Manage the preparation of key daily, weekly and monthly PL, balance sheet and risk reporting, including
o The Production, analysis and commentary of the trading PL risk
o New business review including net day 1 valuation analysis and follow up on collateral and client valuation queries
o Maintenance and development of cash and completeness controls including ledger account segregation, reconciliation and ownership
o Maintenance of Fair value adjustments
 Providing a finance consultancy service which improves understanding and which enhances overall business performance, participating as an effective member of the business unit team.
 Provide financial information, interpretation and guidance, which enables customer groups to gain a full understanding of the financial implications linked to their decisions.
 Co-ordinate the preparation of information for the planning, budgeting and forecasting process.
 Contribute to the development and implementation of policies to support the business objectives or to ensure compliance with regulations as defined by senior managers.
 Assume responsibility for projects affecting the local area as defined, co-ordinating plans and resources to achieve agreed deliverables within the required time, cost and quality parameters.
 Define user requirements and test / implement computer systems, ensuring these support operational efficiency and provide data to meet the changing needs of the business.
 Manage, motivate, develop and appraise team members as required, so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business undertaking the recruitment process when required. .

You will need to be a qualified accountant with experience of working as a product controller across either Credit or Interest Rates. The ability to be able to manage both yourself and others around you is also essential.
