Sweeper Driver- Lorton, VA
? Operate sweeper truck to clean streets worksites or facilities of various types of spills ? Candidate will clean plant area by shoveling spilled material removing debris,etc.; washing concrete pads; sweeping control houses, etc ? Follows established traffic patterns avoiding tire hazards and other hazardous conditions. ? Communicates with Manager and or Dispatcher to receive instructions ? Keeps equipment clean (inside and out) to company standards: Follows all DOT rules requirements: ? Performs pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and completes daily equipment reports; reports unsafe mechanical conditions to shop foreman and supervisor ? Maintains good housekeeping practices on equipment. ? Complies with all environmental, health, safety requirements: ? Must be willing to work a rotating schedule with varying shifts and must be punctual in adhering to established start times. ? Performs other duties as directed by supervisor ? Candidates must maintain a valid Class ?A? or Class ?B? commercial driver?s license ? Excellent defensive driving skills and the ability to maintain satisfactory customer and public relations in performance of duties is required ? Driving record must not contain convictions of any of the disqualifying offenses as set forth in 383.51 of the Federal Motor Carrier Regulations within the previous 7 years (reckless driving, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, CMV Felony, etc.)
