Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of swim in the US- they are the home to some truly relevant brands- contemporary and private label- TERRIFIC names for your resume if you are open to a close reverse commute or live close by to Nassau county or the LIRR this is a great great option for you to review. This role requires 5-7 years of experience, coming from a swimwear, activewear, or intimate apparel background. Interest in all things active is a huge plus, running, cycling, triathlons --- definite plus for the company culture. The role is working directly under the Director of Merchandising. We need at true production guru. Salary BOE we are guessing 65-70K. Expect correspondence for this role from Jaclyn or Marissa.
· Needs to have strong negotiation, pricing strategies, sourcing, purchasing, and experience with working with overseas factories
· Strong analytical abilities
· Proficient in Excel
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Ability to multi-task is a necessity
