Sybase / SQL Production DBA recruitment
This role is looking for a DBA with experience in both Production and Non-Production environments. This role will involve liaising and speaking with a number of technical and non technical business users across many locations of the business so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this role. Candidate must be self motivated and happy to work in the fast pace of a Trading Environment as interaction with the business will be a key part of your job.
The main DBA team is in the UK and the successful applicant based in Singapore will be liaising daily and assisting the team on production non-production support issues and SQL Development. This will be a follow the sun model so no night shift is required on this role but candidates will have to spend 1-2 months initially completing in depth training in the UK.
The role will be split working on 40% Sybase, 40% SQL Server and 20% Oracle so candidates with knowledge and (ideally) certifications on these Databases is essential. Any experience in Commodities is highly desirable but candidates from a Trading / Financial background can also be considered.
