We are currently seeking Senior Accountants to join our Sydney Consumer Group (SCG) Assurance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will have exposure to all aspects of audit and statutory reporting. You will research and provide advice to clients on issues faced in relation to reporting and address client requests for assistance on a timely basis. You will have a sound working knowledge of overseas accounting regimes such as US and UKGAAP and IFRS. This role will require the effective day to day management of clients as well as the management and delegation to junior staff working on engagements.
To be successful in this role you will have completed or be studying towards a CA/CPA qualification or equivalent; possess solid technical knowledge and understanding of accounting standards gained in a professional services environment; an ability to demonstrate an understanding of commercial issues facing business; and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
