Syndicate Accountant London recruitment
A reputable managing agency within the Lloyd's Market is looking for a Syndicate Accountant based inLondon. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic finance team constantly driving process enhancement and systems development.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of Lloyds and related reports, (eg QMA/B, QMR)
- Involvement in monitoring and reporting investment performance.
- Involvement in process improvement in the financial accounting and reporting area.
- Involvement in developing Solvency II financial reporting process.
- Involvement in other finance team projects and development, as required.
Skills/Experience
- Strong, clear and well structured written verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met
- Strong organisational skills
Key Technical Skills/ Professional Qualifications
- Ideally a qualified with recognised body (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) but can be qualified through experience.
- Current knowledge of accounting and insurance regulatory environment, either in the company or Lloyd's market.
- Lloyds and regulatory reporting knowledge desirable
