Syndicated Loan Consultant: Global Financial Technology Company
Project Description
We are looking for a Consultant to work on a short term engagement with the Technology Development and Product Management/Marketing teams to help create and refine the shape of future products.
- Over the next one to two months you will be expected to:
- Conduct due diligence on potential acquisition(s)
- Provide competitive intelligence on existing technology offerings
- Identify and validate market needs
- Construct solutions for gap analysis
- Produce detailed documentation on due diligence analysis and competitive assessment
Candidate Profile
- There are several possible paths to this role. Ideally, you are getting your MBA and in your past life have been:
- An Analyst/Associate on a Loan Syndications team that has assisted in primary deal origination, management and execution of Bank led syndications. You have coordinated closing logistics with Agency Services personnel and other syndicate members.
- A Corporate Lending Operations Analyst/Administrative Agency Officer who has acted as a liaison between the borrower and syndication participants throughout the loan life cycle. More specifically, you have been involved in servicing syndicated loans by using prominent industry technology systems.
- A Secondary Closer who has been responsible for processing the assignment of traded loan positions. You are familiar with updating lenders lists and agency sites to reflect the change of lenders in and out of Agented deals.
Qualifications
- Syndicated loan finance and/or commercial lending experience required
- You must be an experienced and proficient user expert user of prominent syndicated loan vendor platforms including, but not limited to Debtdomain, Syndtrak, Intralinks and DebtX
- You have posted/distributed marketing materials, compliance documents, 10-K, 10-Q and other financial information to deal management sites
- You have experience in managing large investor syndicates and have managed/participated in the book running process
- Familiarity with loan accounting systems (Misys LoanIQ and FIS ACBS) is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in loan syndications at a global investment or commercial bank.
