System Administrator – Hedge Fund
My client is boutique hedge fund based in the City of London. A rare opportunity has come up for an extremely switched on, resilient and pro-active individual to join their team as a System Administrator. This role will allow the successful applicant to join a company that is on the forefront of new technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Managing the wide spectrum of Windows applications
• Maintenance of various systems, including their in-house software applications
• Maintaining the company’s networking
• Infrastructure maintenance
• Liaising with different business users to resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements:
• Hands on experience with networking and windows
• Very pro-active, self-motivated and being able to work without direction
• Good SQL skills – including reading, writing and scripting
• Previous experience working with Cisco or Juniper
• An extremely high attention to detail and very good interpersonal skills
