System Administrator

Job Description:
A leading National Collections Agency is seeking a Systems Administrator to assist us with our current expansion and future planned growth. This position is a full-time position.

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Overall administration and support of BFrame collections software.
• System administration of Microsoft Windows and Linux servers including the installation and maintenance of system and application software and distribution of security updates.
• Implementation and support of new applications, feature enhancements and interfaces between internal and external information systems.
• User and security administration of all information systems, including Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services and Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Share responsibility providing first tier IT Helpdesk support for all application and desktop systems as required.
• Create and maintain documentation in a timely manner for all processes and procedures in our issue tracking database.
• Monitor performance of database systems and ensure integrity of data.
• Monitor daily backup, ensure successful completion, and overall administration of voice recording solution.
• Comply with the execution of timely processes necessary for clients.
• Report directly to Director of Information Technology for special projects and rollouts.
• Ability to obtain security clearance to work on systems.
• A professional and courteous appearance, strong organizational and problem solving skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication are required.
• Enforce security guidelines and ensure the appropriate procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications:
• Ability to pass a 7 year background check for security clearance. Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in an IT systems administration role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and desktop systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with various technical and non-technical groups.
• Self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to research solve complex issues independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels within the organization.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• MCSE, A+, CCNA certifications a plus.
