As a member of the Corporate IT Infrastructure team you will assume responsibilities for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and regular administration of multiple core systems. These systems include, but are not limited to the following: Virtual and physical Windows server infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Unified Messaging utilizing OCS / Lync. You will work closely with the rest of the Lionbridge Corporate IT team, as well as Lionbridge Local IT groups and external vendors around the globe, to support the daily operations of Lionbridge worldwide.

Responsibilities:

*Assume a leadership role supporting and maintaining the data center server infrastructure including a virtual infrastructure of 500+ servers utilizing the most current version of Microsoft Hyper-V.

*Provide production operations support for all Core IT systems, including troubleshooting, administration, monitoring, and capacity management.

*Administer and provide level 3 support of the corporate Active Directory environment, serving more than 50 offices and 6000+ user accounts worldwide.

*Administer and provide level 3 support for the corporate unified messaging environment utilizing MS Exchange and Lync 2010

*Create technical documentation for core infrastructure solutions, policies, and operating procedures.

*Participate in multiple Microsoft TAP (Technology Adoption) programs, testing and deploying pre-release technologies into the existing landscape.

*Assist in managing the storage infrastructure including NAS, Fiber and iSCSI SAN solutions

*Provide incident-based support to internal and external customers (vendors and clients)

*Provide after hours on-call support as needed

Requirements:

*5+ years hands-on experience as Systems Engineer or similar discipline supporting a Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure

*Hands on experience with Active Directory and related technologies - DNS, DHCP, RMS, DFS

*Strong hardware skills along with hands on experience managing datacenter infrastructure

*Experience with virtualization technologies (preferably Microsoft Hyper-V but not required)

*Must possess excellent technical written and verbal communications skills

*Good understand of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Teaming, Switches, Routers, and Firewalls)

*MCSE Certification
*Symantec BackupExec
*Microsoft Exchange (2007, 2010)
*Microsoft OCS or Lync (2007, 2010)
*Dell server technologies
*NAS and SAN technologies

Education:

*BS in related field preferred
