SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Provide high-quality IT Support for Novartis Vaccines Diagnostics site. Oversee Manage IT vendors, local IT staff, vendor SLAs, and overall IT support and service delivery. Interface with LSC Head. Ensure quality standards are upheld and quality documentation is adhered to and stored appropriately. Provide useful reporting and assist in project coordination.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Staff Management
Ensure that all support staff is trained on required SOPs, IQ/OQs, build documents, etc per training role matrix. Interview new staff for site. Manage local staff, monitor, and discuss performance. Conduct staff meetings as needed. Ensure all required reporting is completed per manager direction. Ensure all NVD task/project activities are reported tracked
Vendor Service Delivery Management
Review Understand all vendor contracts (e.g., HP, CompuCom, Unisys, and other). Uphold vendor SLAs. Request review monthly reports (per contractual agreements). Leverage opportunities for service delivery improvements. Follow vendor processes to improve service delivery. Ensure all processes exist and are kept up-to-date in helpdesk vendor database. Identify and Implement efficiencies in Client Services.
General Duties
Hardware Procurement, Software Deployment Management, Training of Staff, Maintain contact lists / email distribution groups, Communicate outages, upgrades, software deployments, etc, Plan Implement PC refreshes, upgrades, etc, Submit E-Reqs, Manage adhere to On-boarding/Off-boarding process, Manage Oversee warehouse duties, Manage Oversee Mobility function, Manage Oversee VIP Support function ensuring high quality service delivery, Manage Legal-Hold PCs, Manage DOD wiping, Manage E-Waste function, Support project related to Client Services, Adhere to standard Novartis PCLCM strategy (1/3 PC refresh per year), Support Legal group initiatives.

Education: Associates Degree or higher Bachelors Degree with a focus on Computer Science and/or Information Systems preferred
5-10 years IT experience with minimum 3-5 years management experience in the area of Desk side Services/Help Desk
