We are seeking a System Analyst for our Enfield, CT location.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.       Setup and troubleshooting of specialty machines (manufacturing automation) and NC unloading systems, including software adjustments.

 

2.       Maintenance, repair and process optimization of production equipment (focus: PLC, sensor, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics).

 

3.       Examination of process stability according to quality needs.

 

4.       Maintenance of circuit diagrams documentation and documentation of any repairs and programming adjustments.

 

5.       Examine, research, and implement improvements for automation/Zubler equipment.

 

6.       Training of co-workers (i.e., automation and molding technicians) on how to operate, maintain and troubleshoot automation and robots.

 

7.       Support, develop and maintain the BDE planning and machine data capturing system (MPDV).

 

8.       Support, develop and maintain the interface between machine data capturing system and the ERP system.

 

9.       Support the ERP system in the area of responsibility (e.g. production, warehousing, purchasing etc.).

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

Electrical Engineer degree or higher and five to seven years' hands-on experience as an automation or electro-mechanical technician with state-of-the-art equipment.

 

 

►LANGUAGE SKILLS:

 

Good German language skills are a significant plus.

 

 

►OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

Computer literate.
