We are seeking a Systems Analyst III for a major account located in Cranston, Rhode Island.
- Recommends, tests and stages preventative maintenance, modifications and enhancements to applications and systems
- Setup and manage capacity and trending reports
- Participate in development of total system solutions
- Participate in product discovery, analysis, evaluation and development of system solutions
- Applies a high level of technical skill and expertise to complex projects and problems of considerable difficulty and importance
- Supports multiple applications and or systems
- Works under general direction/ of advisor, supervisor and or manager
- Has full responsibility and accountability for assigned work and deliverables
- Provides technical guidance to lower level team members
- Designs and implements new methods, procedures, and systems (both automated and manual) to improve the processing and flow of information within the company.
- Develops and provides documentation of the system specifications, including system scripts, system installation procedures, system backup and recovery techniques and system test methods
- Analyzes, installs and configures applications; troubleshoots network problems, and monitors and evaluates system performance.
- Prepares systems for operational use and supports operational tests.

Qualifications
- 8 or more years of work experience in IT Infrastructure
- Minimum 4 year Application and or Systems Administration experience in a 24 x 7 production environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Expert knowledge of Applications and Systems
- Experience working with operating systems, hardware and software
- Server monitoring required
- Citrix experience required
- Xsigo preferred
- MS/SQL DBA preferred
- Cortado Thinprint preferred
- Lumension preferred
- Appsense preferred
- EMC SAN preferred
- Wintel preferred
- SCCM/SCOM preferred
- Symantec NetBackup/Endpoint Protection preferred
- Cisco switches (fiber channel/IP) preferred
