Systems Analyst
Job Objective:
Under the direction of IT management, provides varied levels of computer system support to our clients. Function as the contact point between the MIS department, our customers, and various vendors. Maintains contact with software vendors on technical and administrative issues. Responsible for for successful coordination of the various activities of software implementation and continued support of software:
- Experience with SQL, databases, queries, stored procedures and Crystal reports required.
- Project management and coordination of staff and various departments/locations.
- Contributes to the development of system specifications, procedures, and documentations.
- Must have performance test and related troubleshooting aptitude.
- Interacts with individual departments to identify and implement hardware and software requests.
- Investigates, analyzes, and provides the correction of program errors.
- Provides end-user assistance through participation in assigned help desk functions per schedule.
- Demonstrates proficiency in network and workstation configuration to assist in workstation design, implementation, and troubleshooting of software/hardware failures.
- Consults with customers to identify requirements for new software development, software upgrades, enhancements, problem resolution "fixes", and other requests, assessing how client area software changes will impact other installed and planned systems.
- Works with client and other staff to recognize value and develops requested reports. Coordinates with MIS programming staff in the creation of new and modification of existing program based reports and verifies customer satisfaction for reports received.
- Has strong knowledge of and supports interfaces for data exchange between multiple systems.
- Performs application software testing of clinical and non-clinical applications for implementations or upgrade and installation activities and specification compliance.
- Is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and provision of user-training for new and/or updated software, in a timely manner prior to "go-live" of a software release.

Education Experience
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or appropriate industry experience and/or certification preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry preferred.
