System Application Analyst - Hertfordshire - Perm - up to £48k - SQL, OLAP, Data Analysis, Retail

This role requires an experienced System Application Analyst to be responsible for providing technical expertise in the installation, implementation and deployment of an innovative and exciting new data system.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in working with data migrations, data handling and data analysis- as well as a good technical grounding, with experience in SQL and Access being essential, coupled with a methodical and highly analytical approach to work.

Some responsibilities include -
- Supporting the Project Manager in requirements gathering by comprehensive customer data collation
- Responsible for Data Migration duties
- Performing data analysis, interpretation and cleansing
- Reviewing customers servers and identifying issues with software

Technical expertise/experience
- SQL and Access - strong grounding and understanding with both
- Good understanding with OLAP data cubes
- Experience of software delivery in a commercial environment
