System Architect (Analog) – Automotive

My client is a market leader in providing High Performance Mixed Signal and Standard Product solutions that leverage its leading RF, Analog, Power Management expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

- Architecture development and definition for Analog and RF IP-blocks in an Mixed Signal environment
- Translation of customer requirements into functional and design requirements/specifications
- Drive technology / architecture discussions with lead customers
- Interface with internal and external IP/technology providers

Additional tasks will include:

- IP specification and documentation
- Integration and top level verification
- Code and test coverage, formal verification
- Ultra low power design techniques
- Power management concepts
- Design for Test, JTAG, Scan
- Interfaces to other domains analog-digital-RF (level shifter, isolation, analog test-bus)

Experience Required

Expert level in Analog/RF:
- Design of PLL's, XO's and Power Amplifiers
- Design of Bias generators, Reference circuits / LDO's
- Design for Test, testability of RF blocks

Beneficial only

- Digital synchroneous design, synthesis, DfT, JTAG
- Ultra low power design and concepts (multi supply domain, clock gating)

Your Profile:
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, etc.
10 Years of experience in own expert domain
- Knowledge of simulation environments (Cadence, Mentor, Matlab)
- Working in a team, able to coach/train juniors
- Guidance of engineers in deriving block-level specifications
- Ability to take over/ improve existing solutions
- Solid English skills (conversation and writing)
- German skills/willing to learn German
