At John Deere Product Engineering Center in Waterloo, IA as a System Engineer, you will lead the integration, adaptation, troubleshooting, and utilization of tractor electronic controls, software logic interfaces, test instrumentation, and electrical schematics in the drivetrain test lab drive strategies. In this position, you will become a technical expert in drive strategies for off-highway equipment and in drivetrain mechanical systems. In addition, you will:
- Manage the design and implementation of solutions required to bridge the communication gap between the test unit and the test bay.
- Act as the software controls technical leader to the drivetrain test organization ensuring the training and effectiveness of each member of the team.
- Work with the design groups to ensure successful integration of future control strategies.
- Work with each test engineer to facilitate test quality and efficiency.
