As a System Engineer in the infrastructure management team you will be responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring, day-to-day maintenance and support of Lend Lease corporate engineering systems, including Active Directory services, Windows, server-based operating system technologies, physical and virtual server platforms and storage and backup technologies.
In particular this role will:
- Maintain service level requirements for system engineering functions
- Maintain and monitor physical and virtual server platforms, Active Directory services, storage and back up technologies
- Ensure hardware/software applications and network components comply with technical and operational standards
- Lead and coordinate service requests, problem diagnoses and escalated support
- Monitor new releases and patches across the region
- Understand security implications of systems and provide regular reporting on service risks
To succeed in this role, you will be degree qualified and have a MCSE/MCITP certification or equivalent, have demonstrated 2nd or 3rd level support and design experience, and previous experience working on global projects and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
You will have strong experience in a Wintel environment, and we are seeking applicants with particularly strong skills in Active Directory, Group Policy Management and DFS-R. VMware VBScript, Powershell or related scripting technologies is also desirable.
