System Engineers – Unix/Windows/AS400 – AVP
Role Responsibilities:
• Handles implementation and support inclusive of planning, installation/configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, system admin and control
• Plan and Install, implement system patches, generate reports
• Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve any system problems and provide system support
• System backup and recovery, involve in contingency testing
• Project administration and support for new and existing implementations
Requirements
• Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Unix and Linux or Windows or iSeries (AS400) environment system admin, control and support
• Positive working attitude, self-starter and self-motivated
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill
• Service oriented with good sense of urgency in delivering support services
• Must be a good team player and can work independently as well
• Willing to perform some standby duties during/after office hours
