System Integration Consultant
My client is growing their team across UK Financial Services, and are looking for technology professionals with a proven background in systems delivery. My client have a number of roles available for people with a background of development, design, delivery, or implementation of systems within Financial Services.
The FS Technology Consultant plays a critical role in helping clients go through their transformation journey and this person will operate alongside Business and IT stakeholders to understand relevant business and technology needs and drive successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
My client has a number of roles available for individuals with a strong Systems Delivery background within Financial Services organisation and who can demonstrate prior Delivery experience in one of or several of the following areas:
#Delivery lead/management
#Project/programme Management (Prince 2 and/or PMP Certification a plus) with technology background
#Systems design (functional and technical)
#Creation implementation of test strategies, approach and plans - all testing phases (integration, functional and non-functional testing, technical testing End to End, UAT etc.)
#Solution architecture for FS systems
#Technical architecture for FS systems
Additionally, candidates will come with any of the following industry knowledge:
#Financial Services Risk (Investment Banking, Insurance and Retail Banking)
In Investment Banking
Front office Trading Systems
#Post Trade Operations processes and related technology;
#Risk processes and related technology
#Knowledge of trading, risk, back office packages
In Retail Banking
#Payments and related regulations
#Cards and Card Migration
#Mortgages (origination and migration)
#Core Retail Banking processes and related technologies
In Insurance
#London Market
#General Insurance (Personal and Commercial lines)
#Life and Pension
#Regulations: Solvency II, RDR
#Claim/Policies
Required Skills
#Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
#Ability to lead teams and direct work in a client-facing environment
#Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
#Strong problem solving skills:
#Demonstrate ability to approach a problem in a structured manner and propose workable solutions
#Demonstrate ability to absorb and process information quickly
#Consulting experience or ability to work in a consulting environment
#Demonstrated career progress to date
Your base location will be London OR Manchester.
