System Lead Admin Job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania US

The Network Administrator plans, installs, operates, optimizes, supports and maintains the network operating systems, network hardware and network applications used by the information systems at our client's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location. The Network Administrator should possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of systems hardware and software.

Be willing to be on-call and have the ability to remotely connect to our client's systems assisting users and troubleshooting problems. While on-call, you must have the ability to come into the office if required. The Firm maintains multiple mission critical systems in a multi-site Active Directory environment, supporting CommVault Simpana 9, VMware vSphere, Windows 2003 / 2008, Exchange 2010, Postini, SQL Servers, Document Management System, eFax, Blackberry, Trend Products, NetIQ, What's UP Gold, Data Domain, Dell Server Hardware, and a Dell Compellent SAN.

The Network Administrator must be able to simultaneously work on technical projects, troubleshoot systems, and close trouble tickets. The ability to learn new and existing system software and hardware is required. You must be a team player by helping others provide solutions to hardware and software problems. The ability to create a project plan and prepare multiple types of documentation is necessary. You must be willing to work over-time and travel to Regional Offices.
