System Operations Analyst recruitment
Corporate and Asset Finance ('CAF') is a leading structured asset finance and leasing specialist. Corporate and Asset Finance has in excess of 650 staff engaged in active leasing and asset finance / lending activities in diverse asset classes across various locations through Australia, Asia, Europe, and North America.
Macquarie Equipment Finance is a business within CAF that is responsible for the origination of IT related operating leases for the government and corporate market, and is one of the largest independent providers of operating lease finance in the Australasian region. Macquarie Equipment Finance has also developed operations globally over recent years.
Business growth has created an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic person to join its System Operations team. In this role you will:
- Provide a high level of service and support to the business
- Work closely with others in the System Operations team, as well as those in the Client Management and IT teams
- Assist in the maintenance and smooth running of the businesses Oracle e-business application
- Gain a high level of technical understanding of the system, as well as an understanding of the actual leasing business
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Day to day processing, maintenance and monitoring of the businesses Oracle Lease Management system
- Data querying and reporting
- Investigation and resolution of issues
- System set ups
- Reconciliation and control reports
- Providing timely and accurate advice and data to Client Managers and others in the business
- Liaising with Client Managers to ensure data integrity and to report on the progress and completion of tasks
- Liaising with IT support to understand and resolve day to day issues, processing errors and enhancements
- Assisting in testing and release management.
Applicants should be self starters who possess a sense of urgency, and are confident liaising with others in the business at all levels. The successful applicant will need a sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an understanding of databases. Exposure to data querying tools and to the Oracle e-business suite, in particular Lease Management, would be an advantage. In addition, applicants should have the ability to understand and quickly learn other applications and query tools, and be able to prioritise competing demands.
Extreme accuracy is critical. Problem solving and analytical abilities are also very important in this role, as well as the ability to 'think outside the square'.
