Within ASML the new EUV system is getting ready for production. This machine is the next step in imaging of the semiconductor industry. With scales down to 2 nm accuracy this technology will bring 8TB SSD chips to life.

Introduction

The sector Manufacturing Logistics NXE is responsible for the production of scanners as well as for purchasing and logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector. The department System Qualification within NXE is responsible for the assembly and classification of the various machines and modules of the latest ASML systems according to strict quality standards.

Position

The Test Technician reports to the system owner within System Qualification. He/she works in small teams and in such cases works together with other departments (DE, CS, Pilot/Proto, ML).

Job Description

To adjust, test and deliver ASML products or (sub) systems according to agreed specifications and delivery times. You have an important role in achieving quality and output of the most advanced machines in the world. Is responsible for adjusting and testing ASML products and solving problems which may occur whilst maintaining the planned delivery times and quality. Makes suggestions for the improvement of products or production processes with respect to both existing and new products. Lays down product, process and measuring data in protocols and databases. Provides support when new products are introduced into the production process; identifies and reports expected bottlenecks and solves technical problems, if need be in cooperation with other disciplines.

Requirements

Education

Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Applied Physics, on Medium Vocational Level with 0 - 5 years of experience (Tester 1), Medium Vocational Level with 5 - 7 years of experience (Tester 2) or Bachelor degree with 0 - 3 years of experience (Tester 3).

Experience

Optional experience: Vacuum systems, H2, contamination control, complex machine background. Required competences: 1. Accuracy 2. Attention to detail 3. Compliance with procedures 4. Initiative 5. Multicultural communication

Context of the position

Other Information

33,6 hours per week. Shift allowance is 41%. Candidate will work 2 days in early shift, 2 days in late shift, 2 days in night shift followed by 4 days off.
