System Support Analyst – Legal – Law Firm – Hong Kong recruitment
Our client, a leading UK legal company with a large Hong Kong office, is actively looking for strong System Support Analyst to work on a full range of applications and systems enabling users to effectively and efficiently utilize IT.
Responsibilities:
- Provide user training, support and maintenance across a full range of software and hardware enabling users to effectively and efficiently use IT. This will include (but not exclusively) the software hardware listed below in Technical/Work-based Skills/Knowledge below.
- Provide swift and 1st class customer service/helpdesk support to users primarily in Asia regional offices but also international offices as required and directed by the Senior Systems Support Analyst.
- Maintain a high level of awareness of user needs, including developments and software packages that may improve the efficiency of existing systems. To recommend changes in support procedures.
- Work closely with the London IT Department to ensure a consistent standard of IT throughout the firm.
- Maintain the servers and computer system.
- Test and evaluate new/enhanced versions of software/hardware as appropriate, producing detailed reports on findings.
- Liaise with suppliers, London IT staff and regional support staff to resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain user administration in respect of staff joining, leaving and moving departments or offices.
- Protect and make responsible use of the company network and all ITs facilities.
- Allocate and keep accurate records of remote access tokens, Blackberrys and laptops.
- Create and maintain in good order accurate documentation for IT Procedures, processes and policies.
A proven track record in supporting systems within a law firm would be beneficial in succeeding in this role.
