Role:-
Your role will involve working as a junior quant on the trading desk. You will be given strategy ideas to code up and research and hence learn a lot on strategy development side of things. Your time will be split on the trading desk. Responsibilities on the trading desk will involve monitoring the fund’s automated trading and executing trades. Due to the trading responsibilities, the working hours for this job will involve a later start in the day.
Requirements:-
The ideal candidate will ideally have a very strong academic record (PhD/ Masters) with a quantitative focus, and strong coding abilities.
You must have strong R programming skills.
If you have experience of already working with data ( speeding up execution platforms) that would be ideal.
They are also considering fresh junior PhDs with no prior work experience in the industry.
