Systems Accountant
An energetic and growing Oil Gas business in Central London has a contract job opportunity for a Systems Accountant to work on their SUN ERP system.
This company is entering into an exciting phase in their lifecycle, having just gained increased funding and support to enable increased production from some of their international assets. As such, this company is looking to ensure that their systems are in top shape to enable accurate reporting, efficient reporting cycles, and robust financial control processes. Additionally, there is a requirement for increased clarity of reporting due to the new joint-venture status.
For this systems accountant role, we require a qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or part-qualified accountant with significant experience working with SUN, and who has had administrator access to be able to make appropriate modifications and amendments to the system. The financial aspect of this role will be to help out with month end processes, both preparing reports, and implementing process efficiencies. Reporting to the Finance Manager of the Joint Venture, this role is expected to last until the end of the year, but has the potential for permanent work in future. Candidates with experience of the Oil Gas industry will be preferred.
