HBSS configuration changes, HIPS Host Firewall Tuning and HIPS Event Analysis and Tuning processes. Support diagnosis of Rogue Systems. Incident Response processes. Maintains HBSS system and point products. Continuously monitoring to ensure all HBSS components are online, communicating and are at current versions. Maintain situational awareness via review of HBSS reports and dashboards. Reviews and approves HIPS policies(e.g. General, IPS, and Firewall), HIPS exceptions, etc in support of a Change Management Process or other established process.
Experience with the STIG process, VMS, and Remedy ticketing system. Experience with SCCM for system patching and general system maintenance.
Maintain servers and other computer devices; Analyze system logs and identifies potential issues; Perform monitoring and performance tuning; Provide user/group administration via Active Directory;
Perform scripting to automate services and refine procedures.
- Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
- Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with completed SSBI.
- Security+ or higher certification is required.
- Current Microsoft Server Operating System (Server 2003, 2008 or 2008R2) (OS) certification or official training course completion certificate.
- Skilled in HBSS installation, configuration, and reporting.
- Skilled in Windows enterprise system administration, including Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, NetBackup, and Microsoft SQL Server.
